Low Rise Medium Density Housing Code has been recommended to be deferred until 1st July 2020 by the independent review. The review voiced concerns regarding local character, certification and the Design Verification Statement. Private certification works best when you have black and white compliance criteria once local character is introduced the process becomes to subjective.
